You will have seen traditional job boards - you know the places where you search through thousands of jobs and then have to apply for the ones you like... When you find the right job, joining the site is hard work and requires all sorts of personal information.
If you’re lucky, the vacancy won’t be taken but in most cases, dozens of other people will have applied as well. The competition is immense and many of those applicants won’t be suitable for the job.

You simply create your account, enter some essential information about your work history, skill sets and desired job location and that’s it! Just these details, are added to our job hunter register. Your name, email address, contact telephone number remain hidden and out of view.
The people who are paid to find candidates, employers and recruiters then search the register, looking for the candidates that match their vacancy requirements.
When employers and recruiters identify you as a match, they contact you via SYCV and tell you why they think you’re suitable for their vacancy. It’s then up to you if you reveal your personal information and discuss the opportunity. If you don’t like the job that’s been described, you can send back a pre-formatted response declining the approach.
However, if you like the look of the job you can send your full CV to the employer / recruiter and take it from there.
You're in control of your personal information at all times, which means you can’t be cold called, canvassed about irrelevant jobs and put on databases for spam and junk mail.
